15 Jan 2018 Evolve Ark: Survival with Pokemon mods and automation. Download link from nearby containers, so you don't have to run all over your house micromanaging supplies and building ingredients at three different tables. It won't let me launch the game until the download finishes, it is a download, and the funny thing is, I am NOT subscribed to ANY mods! I get stuck on Waiting for steam to download mods. Ive tried unsubscribing and resubscribing, restarting ARK, waited 4.5 hours on the local screen with the message and nothing. How the hell do i fix this? (Do i need the dev tools to use a mod?) Im subscribed to a lot of mods. Last month, ark was telling me, "intalling 7 mods" and I said ok. One week later, no change. One month later, I unsubscribe and resubscribe. Same. I unsubscribe and get different mods. Wont download or register as installing though I am clearly subscibed. This SO I've tried everything. I've deleted my whole ARK folder and reinstalled the game and resubbed to the mods but they won't download. When I start up the game it just shows that it's installing the mods and waiting for Steam to download them, but Steam isn't downloading it. Did you try deleting Steam's download cache? It's in the same menu that change download region is in. Good luck with this man, I've seen a similar problem one time before and the guy had to wait for the next update to get the game to work.
TO PLAY A MOD OR CUSTOM MAP. To download mods or maps, simply go to ARK's Steam Workshop page and click "Subscribe" on the item you'd like to get.. Then in-game while playing ARK, you'll automatically see the name of that map or mod appear in the "Host / Local Play" menu, potentially after a brief delay while the content downloads in the background.
